LAW 631 - Torts
This course is a 4 credit offering which is a study of civil wrongs analyzed under the three general theories of tort liability: intent, negligence, and strict liability. This course covers an introduction to tort liability; intentional torts; negligence; nuisance; strict liability; defenses; causation; statutory torts; alternatives to negligence (no-fault); and an introduction to defamation and privacy, products liability and commercial torts. Required course for all first year students
