|LAW 690A - Survey of Dispute Resolution Processes|
This course [formerly called Mediation and Arbitration] surveys the law and practice of the alternative dispute resolution processes of negotiation, mediation and arbitration, and compares these processes to litigation. Students will participate in at least one simulated negotiation, mediation, and arbitration during the semester, and will draft a dispute resolution clause. With permission of the professor, up to 15 students can use the course to satisfy the Upper Level Skills Requirement. Course capped at 30 students.
